Patriot Scanning locates underground utilities prior to soil boring clearance, clears concrete slabs in preparation for vapor pin and subslab sampling, as well as finding, marking, and locating USTs prior to investigations and remediations.
Gravesite Detection
Patriot Scanning uses ground penetrating radar (GPR) to locate unmarked graves, buried headstones, burial vaults, and mass burial sites. Our gravesite detection services can help clients establish grave space, verify casket positioning, and map gravesites. Patriot Scanning has assisted several historic cemeteries and research projects with few or no burial records, including local municipalities, colleges, and The Lost Colony.
Soil Boring Clearance
Before drilling or digging any holes for soil or water samplings, an underground utility locating service should be completed to avoid hitting any underground utilities. Patriot Scanning performs soil boring clearance services using ground penetrating radar (GPR) for public and private clients. Knowing what and where these underground utilities are before digging soil borings can avoid damage and injuries.
Void Detection
Patriot Scanning uses ground penetrating radar (GPR) equipment to detect voids, sinkholes, and subsidence underground. Our void detection services help our clients verify ground integrity, plan remediation, and identify potential risks and prevent structural damage.
GPS Mapping
Patriot Scanning provides GPS mapping services on underground utility locating projects. We locate utilities, mark their locations, and collect GPS coordinates of existing utilities and provide a map report if requested. These maps are an especially useful resource tool as construction continues. These maps are an especially useful resource as site conditions change through the construction phases.
